Encyclopedia Mod |
I have made a script that compiles all the comments in the database into data readable to the Moo3 encyclopedia. In other words, I have modded the entire site into the game :) It isn't as useless as you might think, I think I'll use it from now on. You can get it here. Just download the zip, unzip them and place them in your Infogrames Interactive\Master of Orion 3\GameDataSets\Classic_01\GameData\English\wStrings\ folder overwriting whatever is there. You should note however that it does not include the other excellent encyclopedia mods that I have seen, simply because I'm being polite to the people who made them, whoever they are :) Anyway, there you go. |

April fools! :) |
Ok I admit, that last news was just an april fools gag. I'm not sure it was any good, but at least a fooled one person, but it's noone I'm going to name. Formatting routine is restored, all is well, your data is safe =) |

Database hacked! :( |
Somebody has hacked the words database and turned everything into random nonsense :( The backups are on another computer and I can't get to it right now since my brother isn't in ... If you have any old browser pages cached in your computer please mail them to me at: cow and a good old at onyx.nu. I think there was a security issue with the control panel which allowed insertion of arbitrary SQL, I've patched it now so it won't happen again. |

User control panel |
I have added a user control panel so that every user can now add their own title and their own sig which will show up in their posts - neat huh? :) Avatar image is coming up... I also (finally) interfaced the subscription system to you: the average user. You can now "subscribe" to a word, and every time a comment is made you will receive a mool (not email!) notification that this has happened. You can also subscribe to ALL words by subscribing to * (that's an asterix). Enjoy! |
